ETHGlobal New Delhi brought together some of the brightest builders in the Ethereum ecosystem, and Akave was proud to be right at the heart of it. From hosting our booth to giving a talk on programmable storage, the weekend was packed with powerful conversations and hands-on innovation.

Pushing Boundaries with Akave O3

We launched the Akave O3 Build Challenge at ETHGlobal to spotlight real-world use cases of verifiable, decentralized storage. Builders were asked to integrate Akave O3 into their stack, whether for AI, DePIN, data marketplaces, or entirely new categories.

Winner Announcement: P2P Federated Learning

We’re thrilled to announce the winner of the O3 Build Challenge: P2P Federated Learning.

This team tackled one of the most pressing problems in AI today: how to train models across distributed datasets, without centralizing sensitive data.

Their stack:

  • Akave O3 for verifiable, decentralized storage of datasets and model weights
  • Hedera smart contracts to handle onchain logging and coordination
  • libp2p to enable peer-to-peer collaboration between trainers

The result? A privacy-preserving, cost-efficient, and decentralized approach to training machine learning models—an exciting step toward secure, distributed AI.

What We Shared

During our talk at Filecoin’s Code n’ Corgi, we walked through how Akave Cloud and Akave O3 enable a new paradigm of programmable storage:

  • Zero egress fees
  • Verifiable audit trails
  • S3 compatibility
  • Native support for policy-enforced access and monetization

From DePIN builders to data-heavy dApps, we showed how programmable, tamper-proof storage is becoming essential to Web3 infrastructure.

Conversations at the Booth

Our team had an amazing time meeting developers, researchers, and founders at the Akave booth. The energy was electric, from early-stage hackers building AI agents, to experienced teams looking to integrate Akave into cross-chain data strategies.

If we missed you in New Delhi, don’t worry, reach out to us anytime or join our Builders Group to stay in the loop.

Akave Cloud is an enterprise-grade, distributed and scalable object storage designed for large-scale datasets in AI, analytics, and enterprise pipelines. It offers S3 object compatibility, cryptographic verifiability, immutable audit trails, and SDKs for agentic agents; all with zero egress fees and no vendor lock-in saving up to 80% on storage costs vs. hyperscalers.

Akave Cloud works with a wide ecosystem of partners operating hundreds of petabytes of capacity, enabling deployments across multiple countries and powering sovereign data infrastructure. The stack is also pre-qualified with key enterprise apps such as Snowflake and others.
