Today Akave Cloud has completed the first stage of its Filecoin Onchain Cloud integration, leveraging the network’s warm storage layer powered by Proof of Data Possession (PDP) to extend Akave’s onchain verifiability beyond a hot storage tier, to a large-scale, decentralized backup and archiving tier.
This milestone lays the foundation for a new Akave tier, a Filecoin-powered storage tier designed for AI models, IoT and ML data, compliance backups and archives that require durable, auditable storage at a lower cost.
Akave provides cryptographic proofs of data integrity and erasure-coded durability within its high-performance, S3-compatible network. The Filecoin integration extends these guarantees across a new class of decentralized, verifiable storage providers, giving users a cheaper, scalable option for long-term data retention, without compromising verifiability.

Akave Cloud Plus: for Active, High-Performance Workloads
Akave Cloud Plus is a high-throughput S3-compatible object storage tier for active workloads such as AI training, analytics, and media pipelines.It provides instant access, unlimited egress, and onchain-attested audit trails to guarantee data integrity and compliance.
Comparable to AWS S3 Standard or Azure Hot Blob Storage, Akave Cloud delivers enterprise-grade performance while embedding verifiable proofs directly at the data layer. With Filecoin PDP now live on testnet, Akave is introducing Akave Cloud Standard, a new Filecoin-powered storage tier for AI model backups, IoT and ML datasets, compliance archives, and disaster recovery.
Like AWS S3 Glacier Instant Retrieval or Google Cloud Nearline, Akave Warm targets workloads that require lower access, lower-cost and longer-term retention.
